The ramp is getting more interesting: VIN #2172 surfaced on August 9, meaning the sequence advanced by another 321 vehicles in just 22 days 🔥

That points to a recent production pace of roughly 100–150 Cybercabs per week, versus very low-volume production just a few months ago 🔥

Ship 40 (Flight 13) made the softest Starship splashdown yet, then tipped over without rupturing tanks. Previous ships exploded from leftover cryogenic propellants mixing and igniting. This time the tanks stayed sealed, residuals vented or burned off slowly, and stainless-steel buoyancy kept it afloat for weeks until recovery off Christmas Island.

NEWS: SpaceX moved Booster 21 to the pad ahead of Starship Flight 14.

SpaceX rolled the Super Heavy booster out to the launch pad at Starbase in Texas for a static fire test.

In a static fire, the booster stays clamped down while its engines light for a few seconds.

It lets the team check the engines and systems without leaving the ground.

That is the next step before Flight 14.
