Spock’s death in Wrath of Khan (1982) is still peak sci-fi heartbreak.
“The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few… or the one.”
Quiet dignity. Final Vulcan salute. Pure sacrifice. Leonard Nimoy nailed it. This scene changed Star Trek forever.
I actually don't want to climb any corporate ladders. I don't care about job titles. I don't need accolades.
I just want to have income to fund my lifestyle, not be depressed, help other people, and be around good humans.
This is Lance. He may have overreacted a little bit to a leaf, but when you are two inches from the ground, anything could be a potential threat. 12/10
My toxic trait is googling actors whilst watching something to see what I’ve previously seen them in to then disappear down a rabbit hole reading what else they’ve been in whilst missing the plot of what I’m watching resulting in having to rewatch it.
Depression can look like:
• Avoiding mirrors.
• Letting laundry live on the chair.
• Rewatching the same show.
• Wanting to text back but not having the energy.
• Feeling guilty for existing.
It’s not dramatic.
It’s fucking heavy.
One of the toughest things to do when dealing with anxiety and depression is to wake up feeling hopeless. The whole day is ahead of you and instead of tackling things you need to do, you end just trying to pull yourself out of the pit of darkness. By the time you do, much of the day has passed and you end up feeling guilty for “wasting” the day.
a girl on tiktok said "healing is so hard because it is a constant battle between your inner child who is scared and just wants safety.... your inner teenager who is angry and just wants justice.... and your current self-who is tired and just wants peace." and it hits me hard.
@MrCraigBierko@candicepbergen@WilliamShatner@itsJulieBowen Aw. That sounds lovely. The open doors. ☺️ Got any nice stories to share?
I've been watching BL on loop for the past couple of weeks. Still so great after all those years.
