@JodieNeville @derekPoetry @PhDVoice Look at textbooks that deal with “argumentative writing”- also called analytical writing. You could also analyse how authors of the texts (esp. research articles) you are reading do it, how they present and discuss an argument and use particular language that marks such writing.

@JodieNeville @derekPoetry @PhDVoice You could analyse their texts for instances of e.g., verbs like argue, commend, and phrases like “this/which means…” to introduce analysis. Hope this helps and best of luck!
