-and Life moves on inside those games, every npc still has their own nuances even after the main story is finished, there's life to be done after the main story, and I think that's what makes skyrim timeless, there's so much to do after alduin, since it portray life to go on
my problem with open world games, in most of them, there's nothing to do after the story is finished, or even worse (which almost every new release do) it goes back just right before you finish the final main quest
which kind of pisses me off, since i feel like the whole idea-
though, I might be slightly biased towards a game studio (Bethesda) since the way they portray life after the final main quest still goes on, and they did it so perfectly, in The Elder Scrolls, Fallout Series where everyone (npcs) treats as if the final quest has been done-
Yakko's takes about videogame remakes (Remastered, Resync, Re-whateverthefuck) captures my main problems with them also, fact is, it feels the devs are lazy to just "up" the graphics and pricing it the same price as it did back then
