@DualityAscended the pacing was really off to me. All the montages really sullied the pacing for me. I think if they got rid of episode 8 for the movie and made it a half hour longer people would prolly enjoy it more. The story itself is fine, but it feels like a first draft.
omg.
Jax is not trans.
The bow tie. - a sign of trust, not affirmation.
The song. - wasn't about Jax. While originally a song in celebration/tribute to the birth of Steve Wonder's daughter, the interpretation is its a reflection of Jax's relationship with Pomni, how he got vulnerable again and then regretted how he treated her when she's been nothing but kind and understanding and giving him space, (sorry, not sorry, unlike Ribbit who constantly hounded him for attention), in his last moments as his life literally flashes in front of his eyes.
Longer hair - some guys have longer hair. so what?
Is it implied he's more feminine but tries to mask it with acting 'tough'. yes. this does not make him trans.
there's something to be said with how rabid some people are about it. like tomboys and femboys can't exist. they either are male and female as they were born, or they are trans.
no middle ground is allowed. no nuance is allowed.
@lillianyah1@alatus_l0v Literally. You can have toxic masculinity without being trans lmfao and we literally see him at the end of the movie and he’s still a guy. Idk how much more cisgender you can get
@VempireAYOO I feel like you kinda missed the point of the series. it was never a story about leaving a shitty situation, it was about accepting it and making the most out of it.
