I was today years old when I learned about the Nirbhaya case in New Dehli and it broke my heart.

In the 2012 Delhi gang rape, also known as the Nirbhaya case, a young girl named Jyoti Singh was brutally raped on a moving bus in New Delhi. After watching a movie her and a male friend were tricked into boarding a private bus, misled by a teenager who claimed it was heading their way. Once the doors closed and the vehicle began to move, six men locked the doors, beat Jyoti’s friend unconscious with an iron rod, and subjected Jyoti to a horrific, prolonged gang rape and assault. The brutality was severe, leaving her with catastrophic internal injuries. Afterward, the attackers stripped them and threw them from the moving bus onto the highway, leaving them to die in the dark. Jyoti was found and transported to Singapore where she fought for her life for nearly two weeks, but despite emergency surgeries and being flown to a specialist hospital in Singapore, she did not survive the injuries and died on December 29.

This is why we need to protect our country. I'm not saying they are all bad people but their way of life is different. There are very few rules and even the rules they have can be easily circumvented with a few dollars to an officer or inspectors. Their way of life is not the same over there and they are bringing it here. We have seen countless extortion, rape, assault, trafficking and fraud/scam cases in Canada involving Indians.

We are not the same, our way of life is not the same and noticing this is not racist, it's reality.
