It seems like liberal women need a reminder: THIS is what a real mother looks like.
"Several years ago when massive hail smashed through Fiona Simpson's car windows during a violent Australian supercell, she didn't hesitate.
The 23-year-old climbed into the back seat and threw her entire body over her four-month-old daughter.
The hail hammered Fiona instead.
Photos afterward showed deep bruising covering her back, shoulders and arms. Her baby escaped with only minor bumps.
Fiona later received a bravery award, but she didn't think she'd done anything extraordinary.
Her explanation was simple: “I'm just a mum.” Exactly.
When her baby was in danger, there was no calculation and no concern for what might happen to her own body. She became the shield.
Make Fiona famous all over again. While social media is flooded with sympathy for Lindsay Clancy, fill the feed with a mother who threw her own body over her baby to keep her alive. THIS is the kind of woman worth celebrating."

My babe’s first day of period will make you think she wants to pass out and won’t survive till the next day
No matter how many times I’ve experienced this with her I still panic, anyways , my baby wants some hot spicy goat meat pepper soup , time to go to the market I get ingredients to make what the queen wants
If I love my woman I will definitely do anything for her , a woman that loves me right, spends on me deserves to be take care of
You people think the lecturers they called out are the only ones ? Let me shock you people! You see Professor Akhimien, I hope he gets what he deserves! I remember how I went to his office for a week on behalf of my friend that spent almost 7 months at the intensive care unit. I went to this man on multiple occasions to defer the semester, he said “I’d get it done”. Guess what ? He did nothing and she had to retake the whole thing again. You see that Department of English, Hmn!!!
Let me brag about God with this story. 🙏🏿
Sometime in 2004, I was half-awake, meditating, when I heard a voice:
“Go and tell Cornelius Tay that the whole office must praise Me.”
Mr. Cornelius Tay was our MD/CEO.
Immediately, I said in my heart, “Never! Emi, ke? Me? 🤷🏿♂️”
At the time, the company was facing a serious financial crisis. There was little or no patronage for both the advertising agency and the water engineering company. As a result, salaries were not being paid.
When I got to the office, I shared the message with Foluso, who was close to the MD at the time.
“Hmmnn, Nduka, you want to lose your job.”
That one increased my fear. 😂
Then I told another colleague who was a pastor. He simply asked me:
“Who will you fear—God or man?”
With that, I summoned courage.
Mr. Tay and his wife came into the office around 9:00 a.m. I waited about five minutes for them to settle, then knocked on his door.
He ushered me in.
“Good morning, sir. God sent me to you.”
Immediately, his wife was startled. She held her husband and said, “Close the door.”
Then she told me something that shocked me.
They had been praying that morning, and God had told them that someone would come and tell them what they should do.
So they asked me, “What did God say we should do?”
I replied, “God said we should just praise Him. Raise our voices and praise Him.”
“So how do we do it?”
I said, “I will tell Pastor to handle it.”
We came out into the open office. Mr. Tay clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention. We prayed and praised God together.
Afterwards, everyone simply went back to their seats.
Around 2:00 p.m., we received a call from Ngozi at African Petroleum (AP):
Our cheque for ₦48 million was ready! The money they owed us for several months.
As we were still rejoicing, the water engineering company also received a contract from the Water Corporation at Ijora.
Two breakthroughs. Same day.
That was how God intervened in the financial crisis of the company.
And to think that when I first heard the instruction, I said:
“Emi, keh? Never!” 😂
So, yes, let me brag about my God:
He is good. He speaks. He provides. He makes a way where there seems to be no way.
PRAISE THE LORD! 🙏🏿❤️

Dear @jidesanwoolu@LASUOfficial,
Is this the value you are paying this psychopath to pass to young people?
Are you saying Ganiu Bamgbose is bigger than the university and can do as he pleases?
Will you hold him accountable for his actions, because its looking like he deliberately did what he did?
I just received a DM from someone telling me that the latest LASU incident is similar to what many students are facing at Ekiti State University.
Their last born is one of the victims. The students were made to do an extra year, pay school fees and retake courses, only for the HOD to later tell them they had been struck off the student list.
The matter reached the Senate, which approved their letters for clearance, but the Dean refused to acknowledge the approval. Now, they’re still being told the case is under review.
It’s the Political Science Department, under Prof. Ola Abegunde.
A lecturer at LASU Dr. Ganiu Bamgbose (“paka Dr. Gab”) is the reason about 100 LASU students are getting an extra year because for whatever reason he refused to upload students result when they were in 300level.
Head of Department Professor Henry Jedidiah Hunjo now thinks it's the Students fault the lecturer didn't perform a tasks he was suppose to do.. Never minding how this ultimately affects the students...
Now students have to pay extra tuition among other school cost for no fault of theirs...
Everyday in Nigeria you wake up one madness or another...
Dear @jidesanwoolu
They are now threatening the students and it's not just this set that are affected.
The current 400l are also facing the same setback.
But the HOD has resorted to threats
Henry Jedidiah Hunjo,
Why are you punishing students for your laziness and recklessness?
Why are you threatening them?
Pursuing a program in the university is already frustrating enough, why are they frustrating this young people with all the frustration in the country?
So Lagos State University (Lasu) refused to graduate over 100 students because a nonchalant lecturer forgot to upload their results since 300 level
When they complained, the HOD told them to trust the process.
Now they are having extra year not becaue they failed, but because a lecturer failed to do his job and the school is looking to make extra money from tuition.
The students are heartbroken
@Horlamidea007@valskae@yabaleftonline My tweets on this have implied that colonialism being why we speak foreign languages shouldn't be a valid excuse for olodos. If you have a problem with a foreign language, then learn yours (to speak and write formally) The inability to do that proves that foreigness wasn't the p.
@Horlamidea007@valskae@yabaleftonline Young man, you literally just said what I've been saying all these while. Language is a yardstick not THE yardstick for measuring intelligence. You're literally saying it now but in different words. I was correcting the idea that expertise in language isn't intelligent.
@Horlamidea007@valskae@yabaleftonline It can be. Because if it couldn't be measured with language, we wouldn't study language. What're you even saying? Language has been used to measure intelligence all our lives oga 😭😹
@Ramkish68725686@yabaleftonline I know because even if the seemingly typographical error there didn't happen (an instead of and) it still would be incorrect.
@valskae@yabaleftonline I'm sure you can't write in your language like many Nigerians. Master that your native tongue first before you talmbout not mastering the one language you know
