Some of you come from horrible and chaotic families. You grew up watching your fathers beating your mothers days and nights. You grew up watching your co and step-siblings plotting hatred and evils towards one another. Peace is like a state of boredom in your families. Happiness is alien to you.

Then you come on social media to project it on other people’s peaceful and happy homes. People’s celebration of joy and happy moments get you angry and sad. You want everybody to live your reality so bad.

My prayer for you is simple: May you find genuine peace and happiness which you lack. Because no human being deserves to live your life.

When you marry someone, you also marry the history in which they were raised. I’ll give you an example.

Obama was a product of separated parents and a generational history of broken homes. Michelle was a product of healthy family relations where everyone - including extended family - met on Sunday. Because of this, Obama never saw the need for marriage and thought it was overrated because he never had that example growing up. Michelle saw marriage as an important part of life and wanted to reproduce the family tradition she was raised in.

In the end, he managed to propose for her sake after pressure from her, and committed to making it work. This means that, while familial history is important as it explains the root of a person’s behaviour, you have to consider the person’s willingness to break that pattern where the behaviour is negative because it takes an astronomical amount of work and courage to disrupt a familiar pattern.

Maybe that is why I didn’t have zeal for prayer. I’ve always told people that answer to prayer is not what makes God, God. He is God all by himself.

Whether he answers your prayer or not, is his prerogative.

The idea that God answers all prayer is grossly untrue. It is like how people say their intuition is always right. You only talk about the time the prayer was answered and the time your intuition was right. Your intuition are mostly wrong and God declines less than he answers, AND THAT IS OKAY.

If you're able to convince your wife that you value her way deeper than sex, her looks and her imperfections.

And you're present in the lives of your children.

She'll not bother much if you're cheating on her.

Not because she wants you to cheat, but because you have respected her enough and proven over time that, she comes first in all thy doings.

You can only achieve this, if you marry your wife.

You're a man.

Women will always tempt you.

It doesn't matter how much you think that you love your wife, or how much you think that you're spending on her.

Your money cannot guarantee you the loyalty or faithfulness of your wife, if you think that it's all that you need to "keep" her.

You need way more than money.

You need to commit deeply to your wife.

Because she knows that it's very easy for you to be distracted by women, & how easy women can get you.

If she doesn't see you as someone that would not place her far above any other woman, despite the temptations or money that you have, you can try hard but fail in the end.

You're not the best man that she can get married to.

You're just her husband.

Women are largely controlled by their feelings, the words that they constantly hear, & the examples that you constantly set as a man.

You must work hard to earn your wife's blind trust.

It is not an automatic right just because she's your wife.

She's watching you every step of the way.

She knows your every move.

She just chose to be a blind wife.

Don't be arrogant when it's not necessary.

You're not as smart as you think you are.

Aliko Dangote spent $20 BILLION (₦33 TRILLION) to build the largest refinery in the world.

Yet…

- Faruk said the Dangote refinery was not completed, so they refused to issue a license. After completion, another problem came up.

- Faruk said Dangote’s fuel was not good. Tests were done and Dangote was publicly embarrassed. In the end, it took President Bola Tinubu’s intervention before approval was finally given.

- Faruk claimed Dangote was producing more fuel than allowed. Dangote invited Faruku to come and inspect personally, he refused.

-Faruk insisted Dangote must buy crude oil in US dollars. Dangote still agreed.

- Now Faruk is importing massive amounts of fuel from abroad just to undermine Dangote 😭

So tell me… who is really jealous of who?

Why import fuel from overseas when the same fuel is being produced locally at a cheaper price?

If there is no corruption or injustice, why all this effort to frustrate local production?
