JUST IN: China eases restrictions on Nvidia’s H200 chips, allowing ByteDance and Tencent to receive 10,000 each as Beijing races to close the AI gap.

Beijing has reportedly approved small batches of H200s for mainland China, even though the chip is at least two generations behind Nvidia’s most powerful processors, which Chinese customers remain barred from buying under U.S. export controls.

The move highlights China’s continued reliance on Nvidia hardware for advanced AI training, even as Beijing pushes to build a domestic alternative.

改装版英伟达 GeForce RTX 40 系列显卡市场再迎新品。多个 RTX 4080 涡轮显卡（显存从 16GB 升级到 32GB GDDR6X）出现在闲鱼平台，售价普遍超过 1 万元。

RTX 4080 原本配备 16GB GDDR6X 显存，位宽为 256-bit，并拥有 9728 个 CUDA 核心。显存容量翻倍并不会改变 256-bit 位宽，也不会提升显存带宽，只是大显存更适合模型训练使用。

外媒 VideoCardz 今日也关注到了这个消息，表示市面上早已出现了配备 48GB 显存的改装版 RTX 4090 和 RTX 4090D 显卡，而去年又出现了 RTX 4080 SUPER 32GB 显卡，今年又降级到了 RTX 4080。

需要注意的是，这些魔改显卡可能需要修改驱动程序，并且不再享有原厂保修，质量也无法保证，小伙伴谨慎看待类似魔改二手商品。
