Finally, that season is over.
Take the Champions League place and run.
It’s clear the manager is staying now, so him and Richard Hughes need to build a squad capable getting back to the top. A lot of work to be done.
And with that, the 2025/26 season comes to a close.
Before the season even began, it was one of the toughest seasons we’ve all ever been through.
It’s a season which caps off an emotional 2-3 year period for Liverpool fans, starting from Klopp’s resignation. We’ve felt it all - the highest highs and the lowest lows.
We get it. It was a shit season. No one is happy about it.
But in a lot of ways, it felt like a fitting end to this period. I’m not surprised we had down season to regroup and reacclimatise our emotional state.
Next season we start fresh. Our squad will be almost entirely refreshed. Our ideas will be different. Our patterns will be different. We begin a new journey, building the next great Liverpool Football Club team.
You’ll Never Walk Alone.
73' - The whole of Anfield stands to applaud as Salah comes off on his final appearance for the Reds - replaced by Frimpong.
Thank you for everything, Mo ❤️

Empathy has been in short supply for too long. @ptgorst nailed it.
If you actually believe in the words ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, then live by them.
Don’t change your tune just because the football doesn’t make you happy.
Football without humanity is nothing.
I really wish more of yall followed soccer cause bruh two teammates fighting is crazy but the captain of the team getting knocked out and concussed is fucking insane lmao
