In the Fall of 2022, the JCSC and community volunteers installed 72 tree guards to protect recently planted and mature trees that are key for shoreline stabilization and were at risk of being damaged by beavers.
The JCSC’s Spring AGM is fast approaching on Wednesday, April 12th at 6:00pm followed by a special presentation with guest speaker Aranya lyer at 7:00pm, “Fieldwork and how it inspires commitment and kinship to the natural world."
