We're honored to be inducted into the June Harless Hall of Fame for our statewide education efforts! Thank you all who have supported us over the years. We truly had the best time at the 18th annual induction ceremony last Friday at @marshallu Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall.🏆
Last night's June Harless Center Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony was truly inspirational! Congratulations to David L. Roach, Senator Amy Nichole Grady, the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative, and the National Youth Science Academy on their induction!
In partnership with @WVPEC, @WVEducation, @steamtacwv, and @HarlessJune this FREE event will allow WV educators to explore innovative ways to integrate STEAM. Let's empower the next generation of problem finders and solvers!

Do your students have the engineering savvy to protect pumpkins from the deadly pitfalls of dastardly gravity? Show us Nov. 4 during the @JuneHarlessSTEM's pumpkin drop, part of the WV Makes Fest at @marshallu. Will your squash survive...or go kersplat!? https://t.co/CkSiQwtaam
The website for our 11/4/22 Pumpkin Drop--part of the @RCBI4Mfg WV Makes Festival here on @marshallu's campus--is live. We had five teams sign up in the first hour registration was live! Spaces are filling up quickly. For rules and registration visit: https://t.co/hU5HEvykja
The June Harless Center is hosting a pumpkin drop engineering design challenge as part of Robert C. Byrd Institute’s Maker Festival. The festival will be November 4th on Marshall University’s campus.
More information and rules will be released soon, but we wanted to get the word out so you can start brainstorming. Your challenge is to build a protective structure to protect your pumpkin from damage as it falls from a towering height.
We are looking forward to the @RCBI4Mfg Maker Festival on the @marshallu campus on November 4th. Let’s just say it might be a really bad day to be a pumpkin. Get your team and engineering design skills ready!!! More information coming soon. Stay tuned.
Show us what you make! The WV Makes Festival returns Nov. 4 to the campus of @marshallu. Help celebrate creativity & ingenuity of all types by demonstrating your inventions, art…whatever you make. It's free & you may sell during the festival. Register at https://t.co/MqX1SOnm8S.
We are so happy to be collaborating with our friends in the @MU_COEPD and #MUphysics Department to get this planetarium updated and back out on the road this school year. Look for future posts about bringing the planetarium to your school.
Thank you to Vinson Middle School for inviting us to test drive the planetarium during their 6th Grade Transition Days. It was a wonderful day exploring the science of sight as we followed photons from a distant star to our brains.
