@Khena_B Can't wait for this, as Subside is still my absolute favourite VR experience of all time by quite some distance. I keep on checking the PS Store today but nothing as yet - what time will I find Makoa Shelf available to download? Thanks for creating something so incredible. π―
@Chris_Stark Well done for sharing this Chris - I have no doubt it will make a whole load of men much more aware of their need to check themselves regularly. Very glad you caught yours early and all the very best to you. π
@Khena_B You're very welcome - it's a truly remarkable achievement in every way. I've even managed to get my wife into a VR headset for the first time EVER (she's not keen to say the very least!) for the whale encounter. Such a serene experience. ππ
A few weeks ago I acquired a Colombian pumpkin patch tarantula (a species of dwarf tarantula) which was rescued by a local pest controller having arrived in a box of bananas at an Oxfordshire supermarket!
@natyouthchoir@royalphilorch@JimCameron The choir were simply SUPERB. I had goosebumps so many times during the choral parts of the soundtrack, as I knew I would. A massive well done to all involved. A real privilege to be there with my family for such a magnificent evening. π
This is Mei-Ling, my Mandarin rat snake from China, freshly shed and looking absolutely gorgeous! She's 15 years old now and as beautiful as ever. You can see the iridescence on some of her black head and neck scales here.
@Khena_B Any chance there's any further news about PSVR2 release date? I've not been this excited about any game release since The Last Guardian! Subside looks an absolutely incredible achievement from everything I've seen and read - congratulations. Can't wait for it!
Today I completed my 800th JJR birthday party! The party was for a 6yr old boy named Albie, whose big brother Elwin's 6th party I also attended just over six years ago, when Albie was less than two weeks away from being born! A lovely family with whom to share this milestone. π
This picture is of her empty exoskeleton next to the first one she ever moulted, soon after I acquired her in early January 2022 - she has grown quite a bit in that time! π
Charlotte, my absolutely wonderful Peruvian pink toe tarantula, has moulted! She is one of my most popular tarantulas (as well as being a personal favourite of mine) and she is looking beautiful post-moult.
I seem to be making a habit of missing animal birthdays by 24hrs this month - my fabulous (as yet unnamed) baby giant gecko was one year old yesterday and is growing like a weed! An absolutely beautiful gecko with a fabulous temperament. π
Rosanna, my oldest tarantula at 18yrs old, has moulted for the first time in a long time! She's a Chilean rose tarantula I've owned since late 2006 - here she is today along with her empty exoskeleton. You can see how much more colourful her new body is compared to the old! π·
@TeenyannB I'm afraid not - that's the gorgeous Mrs Noah who sadly passed away a couple of years ago. She'd have been 19 now and was another absolutely fabulous, much-loved snake.
I'm frustrated to report that yesterday I missed a VERY significant birthday within my animal collection. Rafiki, my fabulous adult male royal python and the longest-serving member of my Jungle Roadshow team, turned 25 (yes twenty-five) years old!!
I had a lovely surprise today - a newly-hatched crested gecko! It had hatched within its parents' enclosure (I somehow missed the egg on my regular searches through the substrate) and I'm guessing that one of the parents (Pongo & Pepper) must have disturbed it in some way...
