@Clint_Davey1 Virtually all portray the US military as victims. Focus on PTSD from their actions. People who believed in a just cause but were misled by the admin, while history has shown they were engaged in systemic terror campaigns. How is that not trying to make them sympathetic heroes?
@Clint_Davey1 I'm not a big fan of hidden information games because they're harder to play solo. With the exception of chit pull games you have to do a lot more to play while "forgetting" what you know. Another dilemma for a genre to be solved if you're looking for problems. :)
@Clint_Davey1 Hey, I think this is my fault! I got it last week. The components are some of the nicest I've ever seen. Basic rules have a lot of clever parts, I love how free building is. Advanced adds a lot of flavor. Rulebook...I think I struggled less with ASL...
@Clint_Davey1 I feel like there are few fantasy wargames and they sell even less. (Been eyeing burning banners and see little about it) So my thinking is the problem is war as a theme is niche. Games like brass to me are attempting to represent history and are very popular.
@RnaudBertrand I'm pretty skeptical of LLM in general. They are just fancy autocomplete. Hallucinating data is their primary feature but that also means they can never be an authoritative source. Maybe having it not appear a cash cow will burst some of the hype.
@vvage_labor I feel like this sentiment is super common too. Too easy to see the propaganda is out there but still have no sympathy for those affected by it.
@rojoChilean I'm pretty sure what I just said is equivalent to what you just said on PCCh right now. Unless you believe that being actively harmful isn't a bad thing.
