The Granada group are on route to Malaga for a flying visit of the town, currently listening to our wonderful guide, Claire from Connect Studies, telling them a little bit about the history of Spain and filling in their booklets.
It’s still dark, there’s a dusting of snow on the fields and the French group has left the hotel. The L4 bus has a reflective, subdued ambience. The U3s are less quiet so Toy Story 3 has been deployed.
Another group cooked us this delicious three course meal: gazpacho as starter, paella as main and fruit salad as dessert. They all worked as a team and learnt great skills whilst using their Spanish! What a great interactive way to learn!
Every group a cooking lesson in Spanish. This morning one of the groups made a typical Andalusian breakfast: churros, bizcocho, pan con tomate y macedonia de frutas.
We all ended our evening tonight being mesmerised by a fabulous flamenco show! The sound of Spanish guitar definitely captivated our audience! And those bailaores (dancers) were out of this world!
