Instead it sits at the bottom of a tub as waste that no one ever wanted or was ever going to use.
But the company got their few bucks so who really cares, right?
The impact jacking up card rarities to the point of being unobtainable to a large section of your player base has on general available isn't a concept even being asked.
Just, so much wasted paper and product on ideas and concepts that no one at the company could really tell themselves people would actually use. Each quirky useless card uses open card stock that coulda been used to make those chase races a bit more obtainable.
Chase cards aren't real!
They're a made up concept. It let's them push product by dangling a shiny card in front of you!
They're playing you to bleed as much out of you as they can without actually making anything of value.
Stop shining their boots.
I try to pop in every few weeks to see what's happening and so far I've seen a poorly made rape joke from one content creator and a dogpile of comments from about 3 others that can't process comments made on card rarity.
This is how a grifter operates. Why are people ok with this idea? This is coming from the same god damn company that's short printed things to get people to buy more packs to get what they need to play!
Why are you buying into this?
@Nyhmnim@House_of_Champs I too generally think that in a game meant for everyone, including children, to play should really focus more on the gambling aspect to make things harder to get shiny paper that has no real value to it if they didn't artificially make it hard to get.
@RealKaibamanOG @cardgamepenguin@rebelliousAleXF @yugiohforbidden Yusei's dad was no longer the head of the project and was the only one to actually try and shut it down.
Generally I put the blame on the person intentionally trying to kill a large amount of people instead of someone who had tried to stop it from happening in the first place.
I come back here time to time to see whats happening. Coming across some bath faith takes tonight really just reinforces why I just kinda ran out of steam of wanting to be part of this particular community.
