So I keep agent rules, schemas, role briefs, skills, and content inventory in GitHub as the source of truth, then use Cursor agents + Lark Docs for production and review. A sad thing I see is when companies start becoming reactive over proactive. Its a clear external sign that the leadership has lost vision. They make decisions they feel are safe instead of through conviction of a future. The problem is that "safe" almost always means following someone else.

This isn't a clear sign of death, but it is a very difficult position to be in...

For me personally, I hate seeing it because so many companies start with a genuinely interesting vision. Then the world changes, they lose confidence in that vision, and instead of finding a new way to adapt and express it, they start chasing whatever everyone else is doing.

It happens during every major secular shift. AI is the obvious current example. A lot of companies that looked exciting just a few years ago now feel like they're playing catch-up instead of leading. Its a tough thing to watch.

@davep I think Cursor is a great product given great features such as cloud agent, remote control, plan mode and picture generation to name a few. However, with the foundation of coding accomplishes many tasks, the product logic and UX are still too coder-focused for a non-coding user.

I think a lot of people don't realize- if you connect a Claude Connector (e.g. your gmail, calendar, slack, etc), Claude Code will also be able to use them, including in Artifacts.

也许未来的咖啡馆和酒吧，提供的不只是咖啡、网络和电源，还会提供算力。

Big companies aren't short on researchers. They're short on Builder mindset — make it, then dare to ship.

They protect today's cash cow instead of killing their own business. That's why disruption so often comes from startups.

@_chenglou I was part of that team. Basically ChatGPT one year before it came out. Called LMChat and then another codename.

Google was too nervous to release it and DeepMind was blocked from shipping products that could disrupt Google.

I think about this a lot.

@KellehEyad @tibor_tee As coding agent, @cursor_ai did great job given last AI competition rep. But for non-coding tasks/users, Cursor can improve.
1. Voice input & interaction
2. Simplify output
3. Give more tools/context to cloud agent
4. More token or a better way to save token
