The Government of Karnataka has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with @JupiterMeta to launch India’s first research-driven policy manifesto for the startup ecosystem.

Department of @ITBTGoK partnered with Jupiter Meta for a founder-focussed, data-driven research initiative to strengthen and future-proof Karnataka’s startup ecosystem. This study will directly listen to founders, investors and students and capture their feedback.

With the support of our technical partner, Jupiter Meta, we will survey 2,000+ stakeholders across the state, benchmark Karnataka against leading startup hubs and closely evaluate the effectiveness of policy incentives and initiatives such as the Karnataka Startup Booster Kit, the ELEVATE programme, Incubation and Accelerator programmes and Market Access initiatives. The research will focus on founder needs across stages and sectors, programme performance and the specific opportunities required to attract and scale startups in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

This will enable an evidence-led approach to refine our startup programmes and accelerate high-quality startup growth across Karnataka.
