Loved ones say 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather was last seen in Baton Rouge late Thursday, June 4, or early Friday morning. They’re asking the public for help bringing him home.

Black Teen Shot Dead in Alabama Just Two Weeks After High School Graduation💔🕊️
18-year-old Jy’Kavien Wright, captain of the Talladega High School basketball team, was found lying on a sidewalk in the 600 block of McAlpine Street around 2:30 a.m. on May 31, 2026, with a single gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This was just two weeks after he proudly graduated from Talladega High School, Class of 2026 with plans to attend Gadsden State Community College and try out for their basketball team.
Superintendent Dr. Quentin Lee remembered him as a “well-respected young man who represented his school so well” and “deeply loved by everyone who knew him.” His coach and teammates described a leader full of potential.
Now his family is planning a funeral instead of watching him start the next chapter. His community is left mourning a bright future stolen too soon.
Talladega Police are still investigating. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Another young life gone way too soon. Jy’Kavien deserved the chance to live out his dreams. Rest in peace. 🕊️

On February 3, 2023, Two white Prosper ISD students ( Alec Ray Adamson 17 years, Mason Enslow Schiller 18 years ) fatally shot a black 19 year old David Noel Pleasant at a playground in Little Elm, Texas.

As Pleasant exited a car attempting to run away from these two white supremacist. Adamson got out of the vehicle and shot Pleasant in the back of the head.

They later sped away and took police on a chase, crashed the vehicle, then fled on a foot pursuit.

Both charged with First Degree Murder, Schiller testified against Alec saying they went to sell Pleasant weed and didn’t believe his friend Alec’s shooting was justified.

Schiller received NO prison time.

Verdict: In September 2025, Jury convicted Alec Adamson of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon rather than murder, sentencing him to 4 years in prison. Since the crime happened in 2023, he was immediately paroled. 😡

KARMELO IN FRISCO, TX just received 35 years for defending himself. 💔
