Johnson is a Top 14 ranked player in the state of Maryland in the Class of 2026 and a Top 40 rated Cornerback prospect in the '26 Class.

He had been committed to the Seminoles since April. Originally chosing FSU over offers from Indiana, Oregon, Penn State, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, NC State, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia among others.

Johnson earned MIAA A All-Conference honors and First-team All-County spots in 2023, 2024 and 2025. He accounted for 65 tackles, four tackles for loss, a sack and eight pass breakups this season.
