Finally wrapped up seeding today, bit of a fight at the end but got there. Conditions you dream about all seeding. Quick croppy everything looks silly good ๐พ good patch of vetch, denison on vetch stubble and beast barley ๐
Mineral nitrogen 0-10cm after various vetch management strategies in 2025.
Improving utilisation of ALL legume N through plant numbers creates ๐ผ profit. Plenty of work to do, across many legumes/pulses.

Well I certainly got this week wrong... so much for May /June being the quiet time for wool sales. Always happy to be wrong when market heads further north. Business came rolling in last weekend and combined with low volume and despite a reasonably strong AUD, the market went for another nice run. It was right across all types of wool, merino, XB. Long or short. No sales in WA this week (normal this time of year) so we watch and see what the cowboys over east do ๐. Rain forecasts for the next few days are also looking good for the mighty west ๐ค๐ค
There's a group heading to China next week to get a good taste of how actually committed our number 1 customer is to merino. As a 30 year veteran of visiting, watching and experiencing China's rise.. get ready to be inspired!
Tax.. When I was younger I had it explained to me we pay tax for, military, emergency services, health, roads, education and retirement. Given im now paying for 5/6 directly myself. Can I start my own militia and keep the last of my tax.
@pc602 Well no. For the first time ever it wasn't a double entendre!. But the ladies are generally the recorders of events and photos. While men are more beers and immersing themselves in the moment.
@cam_ritchie1@jck_finiterre I was going to do the @LeighStrange1 sheepfeeder method. Instead used the spreader with spinners going super slow. It let me adjust the rate better. Then ran a set of harrows over it.
