Sports fan, history fan, cooking shows fan
It’s not a democracy, it’s a constitutional federal republic
Zinn was a propagandist
Fatum hominis est divinitas
Can’t fathom offended by mundane observational humor that simply hyperbolizes a genuine real phenomenon.
You’re not virtuous simply for refusing to call a spade a spade in effort to preserve the “feelings” of women who KNOW exactly what they’re doing with their clothing choices.
I dont know what turns my stomach more, the fact that Shane Gillis was on Saturday Night Live tonight and said women at the gym “dress like whores” or that there was people in that audience who found his disgusting bit of so-called humor funny. #SNL
@nypost Everybody acting like this kid was denied life-saving cancer treatment. It was a ball. Parents should be able to tell kids “ah shoot, maybe next time!” without it being a big deal. If kid has a meltdown, that’s on the parenting failures that preceded this moment
@disagreebutter Mitt may have a decent heart. But it’s very difficult to accumulate a massive personal fortune without screwing over a lot of people along the way. But when self described “good guys” get rich, they often refuse acknowledge or even actually believe they ever acted with impunity.
@chrishardman It’s not just about money. But it is about supply and demand. If there are people willing to pay $10 for a commodity, only a great fool would sell it for $2 simply because the $2 offer comes from a longtime customer.
BYU football is a business, not a community charity.
@bmariner Did you expect a guy who became a world famous rock star in his early 20s when he was inactive to have all his early songs be about sugar cookies and sharing?
If you are hyper vigilant about lyrics, you should have read them before playing the songs.
@sister_slay You likely have a very chemically well-balanced brain. For those who are not so lucky (which will be the vast majority, in today’s society) they need outside stimuli to get a dopamine release. Gambling can a major dopamine hit. Which is why it can be an actual addiction.
@BradWitbeck On a side note: an unwillingness to be a peculiar people is, when you think deeply about it, one of the leading causes of YSA-aged members falling into inactivity or even leaving the church
The SpongeBob SquarePants season 1 Halloween episode is one of the most impressive examples of a beginning-middle-end 3-act story, packed into just 11 minutes
Honestly should be studied in comedy writing classes
@JonnyRoot_ As always, the “love beats hate” crowd just like the “anti bullying” and “anti racism” crusaders prove themselves to be the most incredibly hypocritical people in this country.
The biggest irony of this statement is they state that EVERYONE should feel welcome and safe. But clearly if you said something unbecoming when you were a teenager, you are not welcome nor safe in the Blazers organization.
So yes, @trailblazers , I do hope you will do better.
@devonhaskins You’re pathetic and twisted to think that it’s “journalism” to go digging for problematic tweets, and to seek to get a man fired for something he wrote in the spur of the moment before he was old enough to drive. You are the villain of this story.
@jtierney6@KGWNews YOU are the villain of this story. Not the hero.
The fact that you felt you needed to do deep searches for any “problematic” keywords just because a guy got a job.
Your values and morals are backwards and twisted.
Saying prediction markets aren’t sports gambling is like saying joggers aren’t pants. Just because it’s a very specific variation doesn’t mean it isn’t included under the wider classification.
Sports betting is correct but for you all that look at LeBron or any other person that are involved in prediction markets are totally misinformed on the subject. calling prediction markets sports gambling is like calling the stock market a casino. you don't have to like it, but it's a regulated exchange where people trade with each other, not a house that profits when you lose. Know the difference
