@Veilyco OFC!!! Having disorders makes out lives much more of a struggle than those around us and it can feel incredibly alienating, I'm glad to have given you a brief outlet for this
@Veilyco btw bud, if you ever need to rant your soul out about this typa stuff, my chats are always open. Ik what it's like to be fighting these invisible issues esp at school
It's not ur fault for having these issues, it the systems fault for not being accommodating, diagnosis or not
@Veilyco It's hard for people without these issues to understand it. What is a sensory overload to us is just a normal thing Typicals can ignore </3 Like no dawg, we can't ignore it, some ppls brains are WIRED DIFFERENTLY
@Veilyco Awful noises/movements turn on the reactive part of the brain and makes all rational go right OUT the window
Ur doing what you can to manage it, and I think that gives you some credit!
I do find it slightly silly how Error fans always are the ones who have sensory impute issues
@Veilyco THATS FAIR, I was very hesitant to express a bunch of my sensory issues to teachers until I got my autism diagnosis. Having sensory input issues can make a person feel insane and sensitive </3
Living with ts is like living on an invisible hardmode..
@Veilyco shiiit yeah thats bad...
It's rlly good that you know what's causing you distress, I think that the best thing to do is to continue trying to block stuff from your sight and hopefully when mental stuff get's resolved, the symptoms will chill out a lil
@Veilyco This typa stuff is NAWT something most ppl + schools understand so I understand how horrid this can be to deal with, especially without accommodations
@Veilyco Ah, my bad lmao! For misokinesia I would just try and physically block the sight of the thing bothering you. In class when kids bounce their legs or constantly tap I just discreetly move my hand up so that it's blocked from my vision
@Veilyco While there is no cure and assuming CBT isn't on the table, my advice is just wearing headphones </3
I notice that my noise sensitivity gets worse the more I pay attention to it outside of when it's actively happening (Excessively talking about it, etc)
@cryingwaffels Definitely not! I think that it's incredible how much you draw, and your works always get me in the mood to create, ur style is genuinely so pleasing to look at, never apologize for cooking chef!
