Photon Studio launched yesterday as a closed-source 0.1 indie build. The site asks for your email just to send the installer. Local AI claims are unverified, and there’s no independent security review yet.
If you try it: use a throwaway email, scan the file, sandbox it, and don’t open private photos on first run. Or wait. GIMP, Photopea, and Affinity already exist.
