When people talk about season 2, they somehow leave out the Barksdale crew angle. D’Angelo choosing to completely free himself from his family to be clear conscience and how he ended up paying for it. Stringer going behind Avon’s back to take out D’Angelo (while he’s smashing D’Angelo’s baby mama). Season 2 is when you start to see how much of a snake and fake smart dude Stringer Bell is. That’s before we even get to docks story and how key it is to the whole ecosystem. Great season!
