@illbril Oh for sure, but I think it works in tandem. They should learn to shut up and step aside. But also we, the public and by extension the media, should stop treating these dudes like experts when we know they don't know shit.
@illbril It would be ideal that they platform scholars who have the range to discuss certain topics, but unfortunately, that hasn't been the standard. I definitely wouldn't expect Ye or Kyrie to be the ones to change that.
@illbril Thats been my criticism for when damn near all celebrities who speak out on things. I just find it difficult to place so much blame on them for feeling like they have to speak on things when everyone actively encourages celebrities to have opinions on shit they know nothing about
