@KinglyPancakes That’s assuming you want the character to be considered mad, though. 1 can also be interesting if you want a “how do you/I know this?” conflict, which is why I think the mix sounds pretty cool.

Obviously context is everything but as a reader, questioning whether the madman is actually fully mad is always more interesting than just “this guy be crazy.”

I’ve discovered my favorite coop games have a clear objective with downtime in between for the shenanigans. I think it’s an amazing formula.
