@PrydeKnx You’re right. They both suck lol. I have seen more artist take the indie route nowadays. I feel like the move now is to build up a brand as a indie artist so that if you decide to have a label backing down the line you have more leverage.

@PrydeKnx The record companies can sue for reimbursement, but they usually don’t. You just get shelved indefinitely. I would certainly take a loan from a record label over a bank tho.

@PrydeKnx You’re right about it being a glorified loan. The only difference is if you get a loan from a bank you HAVE to pay it back. It affects you’re credit. If you get a loan from a record label you don’t necessarily HAVE to pay it back but you usually can’t drop until you do.
