The contest logic for Season 2 is pretty different from Season 1. The key is to get a hand as close to the ball as possible as it leaves the shooter's hand. If you're on top of the shooter when he starts the shot, using RS hands up is usually enough. But generally, you're going to want to jump at every shot to get the best contest, especially if there's any gap between you and the shooter.
