@HouseofWallSt@theoscarhoole Agreed. I used to listen to Spotify all day every day and I was constantly finding fresh and new music to listen to. Now, I feel like I’m stuck in a room full of the same tracks and their for you playlists just repeat the same thing every day.
@toospooky@MadamSavvy I came here to say just that. They SHAMELESSLY killed the main character so that they could abandon the story they were building up to and make an infinite number of games. I haven’t purchased one of the games since Black Flag.
@DrWitnesser@DrDisrespect@timthetatman A 35+ year old leaning into being inappropriate with a minor is disgusting behavior. Now add the fact that he has a daughter of his own and it’s worse. The bottom line is, most of us draw the boundary that we aren’t even going to ENGAGE in ANY conversation with a minor.
$PSYCH - Are we trading more than money?
“You don’t find a happy life. You make it" is a powerful reminder that happiness isn’t something we stumble upon—it’s something we build. Every choice, every habit, every step we take contributes to the life we create. Instead of waiting for happiness to show up, it’s about focusing on what really matters: finding purpose, practicing gratitude, and staying resilient.
Our brains are wired to change for good(healthy hobbits) or bad (addictions, for example). Science has shown that the more we engage in positive activities, like simply taking a moment to appreciate one thing about our day, the more we train our brains to release those feel-good chemicals like dopamine and serotonin. It’s like exercising a muscle—the more we do it, the stronger it gets, and the easier it becomes to feel joy and satisfaction.
When it comes to trading, though, it’s a different beast. If a trade is affecting your mood—making you anxious, irritable, or overly stressed—it could mean that you’re too emotionally or financially invested. We’ve all been there, AMC was that trade for me, feeling that knot in our stomach when things don’t go our way. However, research shows that stress can actually hijack the part of your brain that helps you think clearly, making you more likely to react impulsively. That’s why it’s crucial to step back and ask: Is this trade worth the toll it’s taking on me, am I over invested financially or emotionally?
At the end of the day, trading, like everything else, is just one aspect of our lives, and it should not impair all others; when a behavior impairs other areas of your life, like work and family, it is called a disorder. It’s important to protect not just your money but also your mental and emotional well-being. If something throws you off balance, it might be a sign to reassess. A happy life is built by prioritizing the things that truly support you, and sometimes that means pulling back before you’re in too deep.
With that said, I hope we all can take a step back, introspect, say thank you for one thing, and get our minds clear; life goes on, and we have so many opportunities every day.
@tripzerotv Truly. Which raises the question. Why didn’t he say this initially? Why did he have to leave for months to say all of this? Math ain’t mathin!
Dr Disrespect's full 20 minute response to Twitch ban allegations, rough summary:
He's reapplying for YouTube monetization September 25th, will be streaming regardless
In his Twitch lawsuit, all parties were not allowed to speak publicly, after lawsuit was resolved, settlement said no one could speak publicly, but if one side violated, he could respond
Calls out ex Twitch employee Cody Conner’s for leaking the reported reason for 2020 ban
Doc says there will be repercussions for accusing him, stating "you don’t know shit, you didn’t have any firsthand knowledge, you said I sexted a minor thru whisper messages”
Talks legal definition of “sexting”
Talks legal definition of “minor”
Says user was over legal age of consent at time of messages
Says he never intended to meet the user, they never made plans and never did meet
Twitch’s trust and safety team admitted the messages weren’t sexting and acknowledged it didn’t constitute child sexual abuse material
He says there was no exchange of sexually explicit images or messages
He said he used the term "inappropriate" purposely in his initial response, but said it was "mutual bantering with inappropriate jokes" taken out of context
Said twitch never had a legal analysis on whether his messages were even illegal
Notes his ex Twitch partner manager never supported him and carried a grudge against him
That same partner manager is involved with him getting banned supposedly
Twitch user he was accused of inappropriately messaging said they didn’t want to report anything to Twitch, apparently user was encouraged by ex partner manager to report the situation to Twitch
Same partner manager personally escalates the situation to Twitch Law Enforcement and Response team (LER)
So they pull entirety of whisper messages, Doc says they “cherry pick and choose a few out of context excerpts from the messages”
One hour later doc is suspended
NCMEC was reported to for Docs messages, case was not escalated to law enforcement
Twitch ban Doc, without legal analysis that his messages were even illegal
Doc was banned without him or the alleged victim being interviewed
A judge determined his messages weren’t illegal
Says he’s 6’8 beautiful family and life
Accuses other twitch streamers of bad acts but were never banned (someone using the n word repeatedly on stream was deemed not a breach of twitch policies, streamer was reported doing things with dead animals and discussing pdf* topics but given a multi million dollar contract, etc etc)
Accuses Twitch of using this as a way to terminate his contract
References two big streamers being signed to leave Twitch around this time, I'm assuming he is accusing Twitch of freeing up capital terminating Doc's contract to keep other big streamers from leaving as Ninja and Shroud left for Mixer?
Says he has more just won’t disclose. These are all statements according to Dr Disrespect.
Yeah. The man says he did it, leaves for 2 months, then returns saying “hey guys I said that I messaged a minor originally but just kidding I only wanted news articles to say that about me. she was of age.” Like ok you say you did it then up and leave, then come back saying GOTCHA! It was my master plan to make everyone think I was a pdfile!
It literally doesn’t matter. If you’re an adult then you have no reason to be making friends with a minor and telling “off colored jokes” in a 1 on 1 DM especially. It’s even worse that he has a daughter of his own and knows he wouldn’t want anybody else doing this same. All of this is damage control.
For real. And now everyone is saying “you’re all so quick to judge!!!” “You’re all misinformed!!!!”
All of my judgement came directly from the Doc. If you’re a 40 year old man, messaging a minor inappropriately is HORRIFIC. Now add the fact that he has a daughter, and he should be ready to take out anybody who would do what he did.
@DragonTraderZ Typical “networking” lowlife. Nice to everyone who’s below them so they pull in the follows from them. Give shoutouts, stop by the streams, etc. but as soon as you start outgrowing them, this is what they do. Total jealousy.
I call them bottom feeders.
