Having spent most of my life around Nigerians, I’m convinced that prolonged exposure to the average Nigerian on a daily basis is a net negative for your mental health.
I don't take soda, I don't drink beer, and I rarely drink alcohol. Even when I do, it's usually wine. I can go months without eating sugar. I don't smoke, and I live a very healthy lifestyle.
I spend between 3,000 and 5,000 on fruits every single day. I also take supplements like Omega-3, Vitamin E, Zinc, and Vitamin D3 from time to time. I don't eat late at night, I'm very mindful of what I eat, and I make sure I eat well. I exercise regularly and drink enough water, including my early morning water, which I never miss.
I consult a doctor at the slightest discomfort since my HMO covers it, and I don't neglect my health. I'm not the type to feel unwell and ignore it. Aside from the time I had an accident and was hospitalized, I've never been admitted to a hospital. I go year after year without falling sick.
Any day I die or become seriously ill, I'll simply know it's my time. Based on how I live and how health-conscious I am, I should live a healthy and long life.
a man who has no vices is a man with nowhere to be manipulated. no alcohol to cloud his judgment, no porn to drain his drive, no junk food rotting his focus, no social media hijacking his attention. that man is almost impossible to control. become him.
BEING SHY RUINS YOUR LIFE
You’re losing opportunities. Wasting potential. Low on energy. No drive. Lacking courage. Living in fear. Fix it. Stop caring about other people’s opinions. Get what you want. Be unapologetic. Don’t ask for permission. Get angry about your life. Start fulfilling your mission. Pursue your goals. Focus on your interests. Confidence will become part of who you are.
Shyness doesn’t decrease with age.
It fades with experience.
The more you master yourself, which is one of the hardest things in life - the more confident you become, and your shyness disappears.
It comes from childhood, where you were taught to always be polite, but that’s not how the real world works.
Big believer in the idea that only a handful of decisions determine your entire life. The rest is all just noise
The big decisions are generally:
1. who you marry
2. what career path you go down
3. saving and spending habits
4. how you take of your body and exercise
5. who you spend time with (friends)
If you get these 5 right, it’s really hard to go wrong in life
you can always tell when someone gonna be successful cuz they be blatantly different from everything else around them without even trying, the demeanor just be different.
