@Shafer1337@fwprism At the end of the day, BAM is still the villain not the victim. Ben's inaccuracies do not belie the point that BAM willfully and knowingly withheld (some would say stole) merchandise that was consigned.
@RooBait@DRIPmoscatto Even if they were financially secure, I think they would still have done things the same way. They are not desperate, they are bad people.
@brittb1994 Joshua is also a corporate employee and close friends with McNeff going back decades. I doubt he's been separated from anything other than that particular franchise location.
@justsaying_1984@emilydbaker Franchisees suing already occurred to me. I'm not sure what they would be able to get out of it. Someone posted docs showing BAM is in the negative & is so unstable the brothers were trying to take funds from the family business Legally Mine their dad had majority control of.
@Marlin2711@kimkaiju@Jvans120 I also find it hard to believe they were unaware even if they were not explicitly informed. The collection was advertised and created a buzz in the community. They had to have heard about it.
@Drogdor1 Someone posted elsewhere that what that meant was that they could work with a 3rd party to fulfill the things involved in the parties (like a party planner) and other events the shop hosted. Does the contract expand on the consignment aspect anywhere?
@Drogdor1 One of the things about page 1 is that is says consignment services which is different than consignment of products. It is likely that the Ghormans may not have understood the distinction.
Lot's of tea being spilled in regards to the ties between Brick and Minifigs (BAM) AND Legally Mine. This is a must watch for anyone following the Reckless Ben saga.
