The Löwenmensch figurine, also known as the Lion Man, made between 35,000 and 41,000 years ago. Measuring 31cm high it was carved from mammoth ivory using flint tools and would have taken 100s of hours. It is the oldest known statue in the world @museum_ulm #ancient#history
