@x2Pac_ThuGLorD @Braves Can't really move him until the deadline gets closer, but yes, I did want to see them be a bit more aggressive in trying to find a good trade for him. He does get really hot when he's getting everyday ABs and things start clicking for him. Would be useful to another team

@x2Pac_ThuGLorD @Braves They wanted better defense from the catcher position and Will Contreras was still developing defensively. In hindsight, yes, would have been better to stick with Contreras. But, it's not like Murph doesn't serve an important purpose until at least the trade deadline

@davethechzwzrd @Braves Definitely not. One good game from Heim is pretty much all we got. Murph is hot and cold at the plate, but his arm, defense and ability to call a game are so useful, especially when Drake can DH and stay fresh and healthy all szn

@x2Pac_ThuGLorD @Braves Murphy isn't a failed acquisition and it's too early to say with Yaz, especially with MH2 and Ronald injured. Not like he can do all that much about Bummer with Hayden Harris struggling in AAA, Dodd on rehab assignment, and trade deadline two months away.

@Braves Bummer needs a phantom IL and rehab stint. If he was the same pitcher he was the last 2 years, Walt would have made the easy decision to bring him in after the Ritchie walk to Arozarena, when Seattle had 3 straight lefties coming up. Feel good about tomorrow tho
