A big trend I’ve noticed is when a coin is dipping/dumping there’s usually four sell offs
So try to have patience and wait to buy after the fourth capitulation as it usually comes
Works mainly on fresh launches but sometimes on dips of more established coins
Ok, let me say first that i am not the best trader, but i learned a lot staring at charts for years.
Quick summary, some basics:
My gut feeling leads me to good memes
My basic TA leads to a 70-85% win rate
Using 5 basic TA patterns
- bull flag, inverse hs, cup and handle, falling wedge, double bottom
Bull flag
- bid before the third touch
- take profits first BO/after the retest pump
- cut before it falls below the flag pole is invalid
Inverse H&S
- bid the right shoulder
- bid the retest
- sell some into the pump afterwards
- cut if it breaks below the head
Cup and Handle
- bid the handle
- bid the handle retest
- sell into the neckline BO pump
- cut 5-10% above the cup lows
Falling wedge
- bid at the third lower trendline touch
- sell some into the BO
- cut if it falls below the third lower line touch point
Double bottom
- bid the second bottom
- hope
No volume or other indicators, feel the dynamics, stare at charts and do some trades to test it out
@buccocapital@LynAldenContact The lack of people using perplexity in the replies
It’s better and quicker at all of these points
I really just use google for images and maps now
@fudreaper_ I don’t know why I thought I’d magically be any better at holding this year
Same old story, buy too early and get shaken out when it dies, then forget to check it for a few days and miss ct catching on to it
@fudreaper_ Really humbling experience a few days ago when I measured myself to settle a debate with my partner who didn’t believe I was 6’3”
I used to be around 189cm and have been rounding up for years
Turns out I’m 188cm and just barely 6’2” 🥀
