[Philly Evertonians @PhiladelphiaEFC]

🚨 Announcement 🚨: @JustLadcast, will be doing a mini-doc on @PhiladelphiaEFC!!! They will be filming at @ONealsPubPhilly during the Derby and during the Leeds Match, so if we can do our best to pack O’Neal’s for those matches it would be greatly appreciated #UTFT #COYB #KAGS

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

@PhiladelphiaEFC Philly Evertonians! This is Sasha from Ladcast. In the coming weeks, me and my team are interested in coming out to O’Neals to film a mini documentary covering your supporters group. Would love to chat to someone and set this up.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

Congratulations to those selected. But if you weren't, there are still so many opportunities ahead.

Hopefully the first of many events I'll be able to document. Thank you NWSL!

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

I captured all these stories in my video on the event: If you're interested, have a watch.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

This was my first time as media at an event this big.

The event felt important, yet still with potential to fill. Out of the first round (12 picks), five athletes weren't in attendance (including the #1 pick).

But I believe in the NWSL. It will continue to grow.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

The 2023 @NWSL Draft brought tears, nerves, and dreams.

The event was an emotional rollercoaster...

(a thread 👇)

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

The most human part of the draft came at the end of the night. As selections entered the latter rounds, players were able to meet with their families outside the ballroom.

The first time all night they were able to relax.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

Almost everyone enjoyed their draft night. Key word almost. I noticed a few players that had mixed emotions with their selection. And to those undrafted, head up.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

A serious night, too. Media had only rule: Don't enter the executives zone.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

This was an emotional night for every athlete. Years of hard work culminating in a ceremony dedicated to them.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

This felt like a lot of players' (and some media members) first major event. From the red carpet to post-draft interviews, everything was broadcast.

[Ladcast @JustLadcast]

literally.
