US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco also revealed that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has ordered three Russian companies to use fake profiles to push disruptive false narratives on social media, sowing division in the process.

Two employees of Russian state media RT were indicted as part of a plot to funnel close to $10 million to run a Tennessee-based front company aimed at pumping out misinformation and propaganda.

Commentators are describing these Biden administration actions as their most significant yet to to combat Russian influence operations.
