@nataschadea Well, being you're a military brat who never served, you might note I, unlike others like yourself that chose to sit in the stands, at least earned that right to have an opinion.
@calciopundit@washingtonpost So speaks the Canadian/Italian that enjoys life under the umbrella of freedom we provide. Why don't you take your seat at the kid's table and leave this conversation to the adults. 🤦♂️
@Kay18603@Forbes Obviously, I meant the light crude is both better and cheaper than the heavier crude we import. Why the industry doesn't build some refineries that can process light crude is beyond me. 🤦♂️
@Kay18603@Forbes We have no choice. US refineries were built to refine heavy crude, which is imported; in contrast, most of what the US drills up is light crude, and our refineries can't refine what's cheaper. It makes zero sense, yet that's the situation.
@rebsnu96@Reuters True. I think I recall my econ prof calling it ratchet pricing. Regardless, Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@lykens62@Reuters True, yet Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@UnkleBott@Forbes Nope, Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@BenBradley96@Forbes Not in this case. Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.

@Johntoppin3@Forbes First, learn how to write. Next, Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@kbgill70@Forbes I may not be an "expert," yet I can compare gas prices to price of oil. Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@pm_last@Forbes Companies aren't taking losses; they're gouging.
Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@03Amanda17@Forbes Iran caused it! And Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel by month and year from Jan 1992 to May 2026, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
@YOLO_TrustSelf@politico I don't know, yet Trump’s right. I did a correlation analysis on price per gallon vs price per barrel, and at current trading of $70/barrel, gas should be ~ $2.80 at the pump.
