Day 3 — Grateful for the American spirit that keeps us going.
Our country isn’t perfect. We argue, we fight, we disagree on big things and small ones. But time and time again, we adapt, we grow, and when it really matters… we circle the wagons.
We come together as a people — generous in spirit, answering the call whether tragedy hits here at home or across the globe, not caring what side of the aisle or what side of the earth it is.
I’m so grateful for every American who still feels proud to be here — who loves this country despite its flaws and works to make it better. That resilient, can-do, big-hearted spirit is what makes us special.
We the People… still showing up. 🇺🇸
Day 2 — Grateful for those who immigrated legally and integrated.
This is my dad voting for the first time after becoming a naturalized citizen. My mom (a photojournalist) captured the moment at the voting center in Santa Barbara, CA. He proudly showed his ID — something he was honored to do.
It wasn’t an easy journey, but he always told us it was worth every second. He was right — America is worth any sacrifice.
Millions like him have done the same — immigrating legally, integrating, choosing this country, embracing its values, and making it stronger in the process.
That spirit of ambition and gratitude is part of what makes America exceptional. 🇺🇸
🐱❤️ Looking up from my office window to see Finn living his best life on the deck. Josh and I put up little American flags all around our house. Seeing them waving this close to the 4th just filled me with pride.
Our country, the great experiment in self governance and freedom, moves me deeply. I’m so grateful my dad immigrated to the US (legally) and taught us kids to appreciate the opportunities America gave him that he couldn’t find anywhere else.
Starting a little gratitude challenge today: Name one thing you love or are thankful for about this country. I’ll go first tomorrow, and we’ll build up to the 4th (unless y’all want to keep it going!). Thank you forefathers for thinking beyond yourselves and declaring that all men are created equal!
What’s yours? 🇺🇸 #ProudAmerican #America250
The backyard murder just expanded. From the OG trio; Edgar, Usher, and Dupin to a full five. Please welcome Annabel and Poe to the crew.
Nobody tell the neighbors. 🐦⬛
#MurderOfCrows
Hey y’all! Valkyrie and I are getting ready for the 250th & 4th of July 🇺🇸❤️
I think I’m good but Val is not sure about the big bow…
Poll: Yes, keep the bow, she rocks the 4th! No, dump the bow, tutu only
Mi gente, we have a murder in the backyard! 🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛
Meet Edgar, Dupin, and Usher — my wild crows enjoying their first official breakfast of eggs, apple, and blueberries on the fallen log.
They even caw back when I talk to them. This just made my whole week! #MurderInTheYard#Crows #BackyardWildlife
Of course she 'messed it up' what else is she going to do when her job is to protect the MA legislature? She proves it time and time again.
This isn’t shocking. Don’t forget she got 'paid' to throw taxpayers under the bus on Q1 state audits. What did she get in return? Her budget got bumped up. She’s clearly their lackey.
To the MA government, we’re just their ATM. That’s it.
Funny how they can vote themselves raises, shield themselves from accountability, hand out no bid contracts to friends… but they can’t manage to give the rest of us a break.
Maybe if we were all here illegally they’d find a way
Men don’t have periods. Period.
If a biological female (trans man) is still bleeding every month; guess what? That’s called being a woman, honey. We’ve handled that since the dawn of time, no rainbow parade required.
But a biological male (trans woman) “having a period”? That’s not groundbreaking pride, that’s hemorrhaging.
And whoever the dumbass was at the Boston Herald who slapped a “right-wing” label on basic biology can kick rocks. This isn’t politics — it’s 8th grade science and common sense.
Cancel the damn event entirely. Why the hell is the public paying for this delusional nonsense at the Boston Public Library? If the trans community wants to throw a “period pride” fantasy party, let them rent a private venue with their own money.
Stop forcing this circus on taxpayers and kids. Reality doesn’t care about your feelings.
Same mom, same dad. My brother: blond/blue-eyed, fair skin. Me: olive skin, brown hair/eyes.
(If I’m Latina, he’s Latino too 😂)
We’re returning heavy stuff. He yells across the lot for a flatbed cart (I was too far to hear normal voice).
Random blond/blue-eyed dude flips out: “How DARE you yell at a brown person like that, you racist!”
Then turns to me: “Sweetheart, do you even speak English?”
I almost hit him with “¡Ay, Mr. Manny!” (my bro's name) in full Mexican accent 😂
This wasn’t racism. Pure ignorant bigotry. White/Black aren’t races. Learn the difference, clown. This happened today in Boston, MA area. Sheesh!
@WhipKClark@MassDems@MassGOP
Rep. Clark, what exactly are you whining about? Massachusetts and most of New England are completely blue. Your party has gerrymandered the map so hard that huge swaths of voters are taxed without real representation. But that’s fine when it benefits you?
Tell me: How does this Supreme Court decision "disenfranchise" Black Americans? Every citizen still gets one vote regardless of skin color. Or is the real issue that districts might no longer be rigged by race to guarantee your preferred outcomes?
What would you say to "White districts" or "Brown districts"? Redistricting by skin color isn’t justice, it’s racial profiling and straight-up racist.
It’s hypocritical to claim Black Americans need specially carved districts because they’re too helpless to win otherwise. That’s not empowerment, that’s the soft bigotry of low expectations.
The Voting Rights Act was meant to end racial discrimination — not enforce it.
Treat voters as individuals, not racial pawns in your gerrymandering game. #MAGA
