The weight of invincible struggles...
Mental health struggles are like invisible weights that people carry every day. They come in different forms, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and many more. Despite their prevalence, mental health issues remain shrouded in stigma and shame. People with mental health struggles often feel forced to hide their true selves, fearing judgment and rejection. They may put on a mask to conceal their pain, pretending everything is okay when it's not. This secrecy can worsen their suffering, making them feel isolated and alone.
ADHD, for instance, is often misunderstood as simply being "restless" or "easily distracted." But for those who live with it, ADHD can be a constant battle to focus, remember, and control impulses. The shame and frustration that come with it can be overwhelming.
Body dysmorphia is another invisible struggle that can consume lives. It's a mental health condition where individuals become fixated on perceived flaws in their appearance, leading to distress and impairment in daily life. The constant self-criticism and comparison to others can lead to anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. The pressure to conform to societal beauty standards can exacerbate body dysmorphia, making it essential to challenge these norms and promote body positivity.
We need to break this cycle of stigma and shame. We must create a safe space for people to open up about their mental health struggles without fear of judgment. Let's listen with empathy and understanding, acknowledging the courage it takes to share their stories.
By speaking up and sharing our own experiences, we can help normalize mental health conversations.

See why it’s good to watch the show yourself. I had to rewind to see the issue. It didn’t start from chores. Onyeka didn’t even bring chores. Chizoba brought the chores thing of last night that they laughed about
