@FootieThinking @Rickgannon That doesn’t surprise me, you had a three course meal with alcohol. You could save money by ordering table water rather than spring water. I never have a 3 course meal, just can’t fit it in tbh. It’s either starter or mains, mains or dessert.

@happinesskitbag @campbellclaret @ChurchTimes My brother was like this, he was an atheist but saw the benefit of faith communities to give people a sense of ritual and community. He was quite a militant atheist when younger but chilled out about such things as he got older, I assume that’s what this means.

@Bazunitec @kickingmustang Yup, been travelling to France for many years and I would never do this with young children…ever and this was before Brexit hit!! Gotta be a savvy traveller if you take this route and tbh I avoid it like the plague at this time of year.

@TheEpicVault French culture is very much geared to turning up late as it gives your host time for any problems that might arise. I don’t mind people doing this as it gives me a little breathing space, however my Mum always turns up early but she’s my Mum so I’ll allow that😍
