@Sana_IIK I wrote out the answer previously, but there’s a lot of people missing the mathematical concept of a quadratic equation. Yes ONE answer is 8 but there’s always another answer because of the exponent b^2. In this case the other answer is -9.

Sub in the equation -9+ (-9x-9) = -9+81=72

@onlyskypace No pen and paper needed. Two squares 25m^2 (sides 5m). 16m^2 (sides 4m) The 5 is the hypotenuse and 4 is one of the sides of the triangle. Classic 3, 4, 5 triangle (see Pythagorean theorem) Area of triangle is 1/2 base x height.
Therefore X=1/2 3x4 = 1/2 x 12 = 6m^2

Sqrt 64 / sqrt 16 is 8/4=2
Becomes sqrt 121 + 2 x Sqrt 49 = 11 + 2 x 7
Do the multiplication which becomes 11+14 = 25

@poyrrazalpq 88/44 in the numerator stays as is. Whenever there is a division in the denominator you flip it and multiply it with the numerator. The equation then becomes 88/44 x 88/44 = 2x2 = 4

Then 2X=30-10, 2X=20, X=20/2

@baharkarakrt Unsolvable. It's a mathematical contradiction. The equation (k+k)/k=4 which becomes 2k/k=4
the k's cancel out which leaves 2=4 which is the contradiction.

@shairnn since the negative in front of the 5 is not within brackets (-5)^2 it is treated as -(5^2) = -25
So the equation is (-25+55)/5 which becomes 30/5
Therefore the answer is 6

@BladeOfMelissa There is no logic. This is a false statement to begin with. In all mathematical equations the left side and right side of the equal signs MUST be equal. Try again with something that makes sense mathematically.

Any number with a ! is called a factorial. A factorial is the number and all the numbers below it multiplied. So 4! is read as 4 factorial.
Therefore 4! = 4x3x2x1
So the equation becomes 6x2+3x4x3x2x1
Which becomes 12+72=84

@Emily_53xl Do the denominator first. 9/9/9. Take the first 2 terms 9/9 =1 then 1/9 is left. The equation then becomes 9/(1/9) when you have a fraction in the denominator then you flip it and multiply with the number on top. So the equation becomes
9x9/1=81

Sqrt X = 10/2 =5

First way is sqrt 144=12 so equation becomes (144-12)/12=11
Second way is (144-sqrt 144)/sqrt 144 can be separated as
144/sqrt 144 - sqrt 144/sqrt 144 which is 144/12 - 1 = 12-1 =11

Most would say x=10 but the answer is x=10 and x=-10 because two negative numbers multiplied gives a positive result.

@akashroy1k Solve for one variable then sub into other equation.
X+Y=4 , so Y=4-X now sub into other equation.
2X -(4-X) = 5 which becomes 2X-4+X=5
So 3X=5+4 , 3X=9 therefore X=3
Sub into other equation.
3+Y=4 which becomes Y=4-3 =1
Therefore X=3, Y=1

@elizay560 We need to solve this in pieces. Start with the double sqrt. Sqrt 16 =4 then the sqrt 4=2
Next sqrt 36=6
Then sqrt 64=8
Rewrite the equation (6+2)/8 = 8/8 = 1

So 10=5 x sqrt A , then square everything to get rid of the sqrt which becomes 100 = 25 x A
Therefore A = 100/25 = 4
