Bitcoin hasn’t just dipped, it has dropped close to 40% from recent highs, and liquidations are making the fall even sharper. Traders were already on edge because of global financial pressure, high interest rates, and weak confidence in risk markets.

Then the talk around the Epstein files started circulating, and that added another layer of fear.

One document mentions that Epstein said he had spoken to “some of the founders of Bitcoin.” That does not mean he created Bitcoin, knew Satoshi’s identity, or had control over the network. There is still no evidence he wrote the code, owned Satoshi’s wallets, or helped design Bitcoin.

What is documented is that Epstein donated money to MIT’s Media Lab. Some of that funding later went into the Digital Currency Initiative, which helped support a few Bitcoin Core developers during a period when developer funding was tight. That is a financial connection, not technical control.

Still, markets do not move on facts alone. They move on how people feel.

Epstein’s name is tied to secrecy and powerful circles. Bitcoin’s creator is still unknown. When those two ideas appear together during a market drop, people start imagining worst case scenarios, even without proof.

Add panic, forced selling, and low confidence, and the decline accelerates.

This crash is not evidence of a hidden founder story. It is a reminder that fear and uncertainty can shake markets faster than fundamentals ever do. 📉
