This once again has reaffirmed that a marriage can either form you or deform you.
I pray Allah SWT helps be with them, and I pray we all readers hold onto a lesson from this piece.
Allahuma Yassir 🤲!
Fulfilment is an underused expression and today again, I am made to ponder over what it fully means.
I guess it is one of those words that you can never truly define but seek it out like a quest.
However, today, I got a perception of what it should seemingly look like.
It has been unsettling for me, tbh and I even had it in mind to drop a text and speak about it.
And then it dawned upon me, she changed after marriage.
Sighs.... "وَ كُلَّماَ تَراَنى أَبْتَعِدْ عَنْكَ، فَرَدَّنِى إِلَيكَ رَداًّ جَمِيلاً"
Sometimes, love is finding yourself paying utmost attention to the littlest things about them: the way their eyes light up when they're talking about something they like, the way their voice softens when they get happy-emotional, how they glow when they're excited; and taking quiet notes to do more of the things that would bring forth such reactions from them🥹
About your growth and build a winning mindset.
Understand that life won't always go as planned and that it is okay to fail, that it is okay to ask for help and that it is okay to be afraid.
Wake up everyday and say yo yourself; "I've got this!"
This phase of your life will only come once and this goes to you looking to go far in life.
Value your relationship with people and genuinely seek to connect with the Almighty; in coming years you'd be looking to build and drive impact – if you haven't started
Lean towards your parents and forget how growing up was like – if it was tough and work to build a connection with them.
You'll find out as you progress that no one loves you as much as those two and that they'd always root for you.
Focus on yourself and be selfish....
