Last December I unfortunately lost a friend of mine in the army to a helicopter crash. This Memorial Day weekend I finally was able to complete this tattoo of the topography of Wildcat Mountain where we would ski all the time growing up.
RIP Tanner 🙏🏻
I love how you recognize the impact physical wellness has on mental health, particularly in relation to the young adult/college aged population. As a mental health worker I see this daily.
Now that the Supreme Court finally ended affirmative action, colleges will only further deprioritize SAT scores in favor of subjective factors because of large racial disparities in test results. There’s a simple way forward that will drive excellence and diversity of talent among incoming college classes: the College Board should add a physical fitness section to the SAT, instead of just math and reading sections. This could mirror the “Presidential Fitness Test” – consisting of a 1-mile run, pull-ups, sit-ups, shuttle run, etc. – regularly administered across American high schools until the Obama White House disband it. This is a pro-merit solution that rewards diverse talents: it’s a fact that those who perform well on math & reading tests tend to perform more poorly on the 1-mile run, and vice versa. This would also help address a growing mental health crisis in our country: physical fitness correlates directly with lower rates of depression, anxiety, and drug use. This is not formally part of my Presidential platform but it’s a serious proposal to address multiple cultural & health challenges with a single actionable step: most solutions shouldn’t come top-down from government.
I see nobody talking about it, but I see Tampa Bay as a great landing spot.
-not paying big money to a qb
-good pieces all around offense/defense
-could compete for the division right away with Taylor/R.White
Would love to hear something better. Doubt it though
Thoughts on #Eagles and the potential of a Jonathan Taylor trade:
** Obviously they need him. They don’t have an RB1. Taylor is a player defenses worry about and makes the life of other players on offense easier. They don’t have that currently
** Taylor would be amazing with the Eagles and increase their chances of winning a Super Bowl
** I don’t think the trade price in terms of draft capital would be the issue
** Taylor’s desire for a new deal is the biggest issue. He’s going to want top 5 RB money. I’d be very surprised if they traded for Taylor and paid him.
** I’d put the chances he’s an Eagle at like 10%. Not 0% because #HowieSzn
While rookie contracts are less negotiable, I believe rookie RB’s should hold out for larger signing bonuses when they are drafted to cash in at their theoretical “peak value”
Report: Top #NFL running backs planning a Zoom call for Saturday night to discuss their depressed market.
Multiple sources tell PFT's Mike Florio that #Chargers RB Austin Ekeler has organized the meeting and distributed the Zoom link.
All of the big-name running backs have been invited.
The RBs previously organized a group text chain aimed at addressing the declining running back market.

I’m proud to share that I have made Academic Deans List Honors with a 3.93GPA in my first 6 month academic period with @UOPX in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program!!
I feel like their direct attack towards twitch and eye popping payout structure suggests a clear motive to encourage the masses to flock to kick otherwise this all will go belly up. None of this seems sustainable unless the user base can continuously and massively increase.
