🚨#BREAKING: A Charlotte NC woman KIDNAPPED an autistic teenager and then DROVE HIM AROUND FOR 40 MINUTES.

He can be heard screaming in dash-cam footage, "I'M SCARED!!!"

The teenager then JUMPED FROM THE CAR INTO TRAFFIC to escape as police closed in.

According to the police report 18 year old Griffin Haire called his dad to say he lost his keys at a gas station.

Moments later, a 44-year-old woman named Amanda Gills got in his Mini Cooper and took off... with Griffin in the passenger seat!

The dashcam caught all of it.

You can hear Griffin ask her: "Who are you? I'm scared of strangers."

She told him to keep him calm, "I'm your designated driver. You are under the influence, and I have to drive for you."

For 40 minutes, Griffith stayed on the phone with his dad, calling out every street, every turn, and they relayed every word to 911.

Eventually the police closed in and Griffith jumped from the car.

Amanda Gills was arrested and charged with second-degree kidnapping, larceny of a motor vehicle, and fleeing to elude arrest while in a motor vehicle.

Police say the carjacking appears to have been completely random.
