I have contacted a lawyer, Barrister Inibehe Effiong @InibeheEffiong, who, luckily, has been actively working to intensify his release.

I sincerely appeal to the police and other agents of the government to always operate within the law and the rules and stop the weaponizing citizens, especially our youths, who need our care and love to unleash their talents and energy towards building a new Nigeria that is possible. -PO

Muslims are truly tolerant people.

During the time Christopher Gwabin Musa (a Christian) served as Chief of Defence Staff, the Nigerian military mistakenly bombed innocent Muslim civilians on three different occasions:

1. On 3 Dec 2023 – Tudun Biri, Kaduna: About 126 Muslims celebrating Maulud were k!lled.

2. On 25 Dec 2023 – Sokoto: About 10 Muslims were k!lled while sleeping.

3. On 13 Jan 2025 – Zurmi, Zamfara: Another strike k!lled 16 Muslim civilians.

If these same incidents had happened to Christians and the officer in charge was a Muslim the story would have been framed very differently. Many would have rushed to call it “religious persecution.”

But look at the reaction of Muslims: They mourned his removal, and today we are even celebrating his appointment as Minister of Defence.

This says a lot about who truly chooses peace, patience, and unity.
