Elon posted two separate polls (one from 2022 & one from 2024) asking if they should bring back Vine. Both times, more than a million votes and Yes was the winner with 70%.

Jan 19, 2025 @SawyerMerritt posts about it being time to bring back Vine. @elonmusk responds with "We're looking into it".

Jan 25, 2025 @KettlebellDan asks why they should bring back Vine.

Jan 26, 2025 @rus responded to Dan with a thread on why they should.

Mar 28, 2025 @danesonance posts something like "xAI now owns Vine, what should we do with it" (that post has since been deleted" and Elon responded with "Feel free to take that on".

That could be why people are curious about Vine.
