Mariupol. Archival footage.
Estimated 100,000 lives lost — buried under rubble or in mass graves.
Anyone pressuring Ukraine to surrender under the pretext of peace negotiations is no better than Putin himself.
@mtradpagan38952@Polymarket Listen to what you're saying. "Russia must continue killing, otherwise they will have pay reparations for the people they've already killed".
"Wherever Russian troops arrive, Ukrainians cease to exist."
At an official event in Moscow, Russian Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Selivanov openly admitted their true goal is the total erasure of Ukrainian identity.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military reports that overnight it delivered a total of around four tons of food by drone to some 100 different locations in the occupied town of Oleshky, in the lower reaches of the Dnipro.
The town, which has been under Russian occupation since 2022, is now facing a genuine humanitarian catastrophe. Around 1,500 local residents, including some 40 children, are at an extreme risk of starvation this winter, isolated from the outside world. Russian occupying forces are both blocking any humanitarian aid from reaching the town and preventing the remaining residents from leaving despite their desperate situation.
The Russian military has also rejected Ukraine’s proposal for a ceasefire and the evacuation of civilians through an agreed humanitarian corridor.
And now, in Europe in 2026, thousands of people trapped under blockade are facing the threat of starving to death.
Why don't Western news outlets report daily on the humanitarian situation in occupied Oleshky?
Russia is letting 6,000 Ukrainians starve.
According to the local military administration, no food supplies have reached the city since May 26. There are even reports of families eating dogs out of desperation.
Where are the complete idiots who claim Russia wants peace? No, Russia wants to wipe out Ukraine.
Incredible: another Ukrainian famine is unfolding, this time in Russian-occupied Oleshky. The remaining inhabitants of what used to be a thriving small city, now down to about 6000 people, are blockaded by Russian forces and cut off from food and water.

Red Cross reports 275.000 Ukrainian civilians "missing" since 2022.
With satellite images of Mariupol mass graves and numerous reports of russian executions of civilians in occupied territories, puts the number of likely civilians killed by russia than a lot of people were (and still are) reporting.
And remember, russia does not allow international organizations or independent UN inspectors to make assessments in the occupied territories so the numbers could tragically be much higher.
I won't compare it with other wars because we don't do that but I remember all the horrible people comparing this to another war that is going on, telling us "it's not as bad in Ukraine"
There is no limit to how much we can hate russia and its apologists.
Justice will come one day.
In russian occupied Oleshky people are eating pigeons and plants to survive.
russians are starving to death the 6000 people who haven't fled. Anyone trying to deliver food is hunted with drones. People can't leave either.
Why is the world ignoring this?
Those pushing Ukraine to surrender territory to Russia either don’t know these things, or they do know them but don’t care. Worth them asking which type they are when they comment or publish on the matter.
Saying this is about PoWs understates the evil: Russia is abducting civilians, even blind elderly men, and threatening that they'll torture them to try to blackmail their families into spying for Russia.
They're just psychopaths. Kill them before they kill you.
@peterktodd So many people in the comments can't comprehend that the fact that Russia was attacked by Nazis in WW2 and so had to fight Nazis, doesn't mean that Russia today can't be nazi-like itself.
Today 240,000 Ukrainian children start first grade — 10% fewer than last year. Many will hear their first school bell underground, in metro stations and basements, because the sky belongs to drones.
Same morning, Russian first-graders get "Important Conversations" — a state lesson on why this is all necessary.
Two countries, one bell. One teaches children to survive a war; the other teaches them to want the next one.
"You just want endless war." Let's check who's had one.
I want the war to end. That's why I want Ukraine armed — because underarmed defenders don't get peace, they get occupation with intermissions. The "diplomacy first" method got its trial: 2008, 2014, 2015, Minsk, Istanbul. Result: the longest European war since 1945, on the appeasers' watch, by the appeasers' playbook.
Four years of "restraint" produced four years of war. Deterrence, where tried — Finland's border, NATO's territory — produced zero.
The warmongers aren't the ones arming the defender. They're the ones who taught the aggressor that patience pays. I want peace. I've just read how it's actually purchased.
Horrifying to see more than 10,000 Ukrainian civilians disappear into the Russian prison system. This is the utterly grim story of one cell: https://t.co/f4evKDC6qK
A boy on his bike near Kramatorsk was just murdered by a russian drone. They posted this video of their crime. This is evidence this war has nothing to do with territory. It’s an attempt to wipe out an entire civilian population of an innocent county while the world watches.
Look at the scale of the damage. They attacked that shopping mall multiple times in one attack, specifically to try to kill rescue workers.
They knew exactly what they were attacking. Yet dozens of Russians were happy to plan the attack and make it happen, purely so they could force Ukrainians out of their home country so they could steal that land for themselves.
Russians are just sub-human psychopaths. We need to accept that and work on exterminating their disgusting culture.
It will forever be a stain on our country's history that we were on the wrong side of the Russia-Ukraine war when it mattered most.
Last month, we promised Ukraine the ability to produce Patriot interceptors themselves. That was walked back for some reason.
Aid packages to Ukraine — even weapons & funding already approved by Congress before this administration — have slowed to nearly a halt.
You'd think the least we could do is let them use Starlink to hit the launchers hitting them. Instead, Elon Musk is blocking them from doing so — even for military targets, even as the interceptors they desperately need run out.
Zelenskyy tried to set up a meeting with Trump and Elon on his most recent trip to the US. Elon refused.
In an Economist interview last month, Elon said the war can only end "through concessions to Moscow." That's backwards. Russia has never negotiated in good faith. Putin only comes to the table when losing costs him more than the war does. Cutting off Ukraine's ability to strike back doesn't bring peace closer; it removes the only pressure that ever would.
The United States is simply not putting any real pressure on Putin to end this war. For the life of me, I'll never understand why.
