@floschechter What if landlords mortgage and lease went up by £300 and it’s hard for them to up keep as well? I rent my little flat while I moved out to be with my boyfriend and we had a baby. In which place I would be stealing money? There are always two sides.
@MayorofLondon My mortgage and lease for one bed flat went up to £900 per month (zone 8!). If I were renting, adding agency fees it would add up to £1100 for the renter pm.
So it’s really not a landlord greed, but a whole system I think - mortgage rates, leaseholds, agencies etc
@Project_Veritas@pfizer I had major problems after each vaccine and reported it to the NHS, I was told that only around 45,000 women reported such symptoms in the UK so there for they are not investigating it as a side effect. Surely 45k complains should be enough?
@GarethHavard83 Also the streets are in the pitch dark and and almost no Christmas lights in the houses. This is Sevenoaks, one of the wealthy areas in South East 🌌
@SholaMos1 @Sistah_Space I am Lithuanian I went to school in south London and lived here since 2006 - so 16y. since then I did my BA, Masters, got a career, bought a house and etc. People ask me: 'where are you from'. 'where are you really from', 'do you understand me?', 'your English is very good'...
@sumlenny My mum had a job close to Vilnius in the seventies and she was not allowed to say a word in Lithuanian. The language was forbidden, all the documents were in Russian and everyone was forced to speak in Russian.
@BohemianAtmosp1 I had 3 covid vaccines pre pregnancy and I had horrible reactions to them each time. Now I am 9 months pregnant and each time I go to check, they ask why do I decline covid boosters. It’s like they don’t care how I feel, they just want me to get those boosters no matter what.
@Tampax Disgusting. Whoever wrote this, would you say that to your 11 year old daughter is she would be on her first period? That is probably the most inappropriate, awful, disgusting, out of touch and the worse tweet I have ever seen.
@odanobunaga__1 @Cricketpandit24@KyivIndependent If other countries are happy, let them be. if countries want to be sovereign as they were for thousands of years, they have a right to do so. if you wish to experience what oppressions are, feel free and go to Russia, but don't suggest others should go there too.
@odanobunaga__1 @Cricketpandit24@KyivIndependent as a someone whose parents and grandparents were tortured by Russian oppressions, I strongly disagree that all the countries around Russia should be ethnically cleansed (aka genocides), looted, bombed, not allowed to speak in their languages and live their own lives.
@yewleea My mum said that she was not allowed to speak Lithuanian at work. One time she did and she got a disciplinary action because of that. She said all the documents were in Russian too. This is Lithuania in late seventies.
